The Volunteer Program at League for Justice and Development (LJD) provides passionate individuals with an opportunity to contribute to meaningful human rights, justice, and community development initiatives at both local and international levels. LJD welcomes volunteers from diverse professional and academic backgrounds who are committed to advancing social justice, human dignity, accountability, and sustainable development. Through research, advocacy, outreach, communications, legal support, fundraising, community engagement, and organizational development, volunteers play a vital role in strengthening the organization’s mission and impact while gaining valuable experience in the fields of human rights and social justice.

Charity Fund
The Charity Fund of League for Justice and Development (LJD) supports humanitarian, legal, and community-based initiatives aimed at assisting vulnerable and marginalized individuals facing hardship, injustice, displacement, poverty, or human rights violations. Contributions to the fund help expand access to essential support services, justice initiatives, emergency assistance, community empowerment programs, and sustainable solutions that promote dignity, protection, and social justice for affected communities.
What We Do
LJD advances social justice through legal empowerment, strategic advocacy, accountability initiatives, research, and rights-based community engagement. The organization works to ensure that human rights are not merely recognized in principle, but effectively protected and enforceable in practice.
Our work focuses on strengthening access to justice and promoting accountability for human rights violations affecting vulnerable and marginalized communities, including migrants, refugees, displaced persons, women, Black communities, persons with disabilities, workers, and communities affected by environmental harm and economic exploitation.
Our history
League for Justice and Development (LJD) was founded in response to growing global injustice, inequality, impunity, and systemic human rights violations affecting vulnerable and marginalized communities worldwide. Built on years of legal practice, human rights advocacy, and field experience working with migrants, refugees, displaced populations, and communities affected by conflict, corruption, environmental harm, and economic exploitation, LJD was created from the recognition that rights often remain inaccessible, unenforced, or denied in practice.
As an international legal and human rights organization, LJD works to bridge the gap between human rights principles and practical justice through law, strategic advocacy, community empowerment, research, and institutional engagement. The organization promotes access to justice, accountability, enforceable rights, and sustainable development while supporting communities whose voices are too often ignored within legal, political, and economic systems.
